How long does it usually take to get my period after stopping the birth control pill?

24-year-old womana year ago
I have been taking the Alesse pill for 7 years. I stopped it in the middle of the pack 4 weeks and a few days ago, and I still haven't had a period. I have taken several pregnancy tests but they are negative.

Good morning, Mrs,
The absence of bleeding does not necessarily indicate a problem, it is even very frequent. The menstrual cycle may take 3 to 6 months to regularize following this change.
How long was your menstrual cycle before you started birth control? If I understand correctly, you have stopped using contraception for good?

Thank you for your answer! My cycle before starting birth control was quite regular. Between 28 and 30 days approximately. Yes, I have stopped birth control for good.

Thank you for the information. So if there are no other symptoms, it is recommended to just wait for now.
I would recommend going to the doctor if you have not had a period for 2 months.
