Usually it says to go to the doctor after 3 days of fever but now that she has covid what's next? What to do?

My 2.5 year old daughter is close to 3 years old and has had a 39.1 fever since Wednesday night, controlled a little with Tylenol. She is positive for covid. She hardly eats and just wants to drink milk. She says her tummy hurts too. She has loose stools.

Hello ma'am, I'm sorry to read about his troubles!
It is recommended to consult if the fever persists for 72 hours or if the child does not eat at all. First of all, we need to make sure that you are giving the effective dose of Tylenol. I can confirm with you if you give me his weight and the concentration of Tylenol you have.
Encourage your child to drink, even if it is in smaller amounts more often. It is normal for his appetite to be diminished during an illness.

She weighs 25 lbs and I give her Tylenol 160mg/5 ml and I give her 5 ml given her weight.

Thanks for the feedback, it is indeed the right dose :). You can give him 5 ml every 4 to 6 hours if needed for a maximum of 5 times per 24 hours period.
We will continue like this while monitoring the situation. Don't forget to shake the product well before giving it to him.
I will remain available if anything comes up!
