How can I help the lump on my eyelid heal?

I don't know how long it's been there but I have a lump on my eyelid that doesn't hurt, it doesn't run, it's just there. I put a washcloth 3-4 times a day warm 5 - 10 minutes

You did well with the hot packs. Make sure the pad stays warm by adding hot water often, for 5-10 minutes, 2-3 times a day religiously.

If it persists for more than 7 days or gets worse, I suggest that you see an optometrist to assess the situation and not delay treatment, if necessary.
