Hello ma'am, sorry to read about your troubles!
Would it be possible to obtain the following information, in order to better understand the situation and your needs?
What did you try to do about it?
Did you remove the earring?
What symptoms do you have exactly, redness, swelling, pain, fever or other?
Thank you!

Hello,
at first I cleaned with mild soap and water and since a wound had formed, I cleaned the wound with a saline solution. When the infection diminished I applied an antibiotic ointment for 1 week, twice a day and that helped to diminish the infection. Since the infection no longer seemed to be present I stopped applying the ointment and then my lymph nodes swelled and my ears became red and a liquid was running. Since the infection was much too intense and it hurt I removed the earrings but I don't know if the infection is still there since the holes in my earrings got plugged. To clarify, the last time I had my ears pierced was 2 years ago so I don't think the infection is from a recent piercing and all my earrings had been disinfected before I wore them and none of them were new.
thank you!

Thanks for the feedback. You did the right thing by removing the piercing
For now I suggest to stop using Polysporin or any other cream. Just keep the area clean with water and mild soap like Dove, 2 to 3 times a day
If the swelling does not go down, if it increases, or if you notice other symptoms such as pain, redness, fever or discharge, you should consult a doctor so as not to delay the proper treatment.
