As for symptoms, Tylenol and lozenges can help relieve throat irritation, and I encourage you to drink plenty of fluids, cold or hot, as you prefer.

I also suggest nasal hygiene with a saline solution (Hydrasense, Sinus Rinse and others), which can be done as often as needed during the day, and at least 30 minutes before bedtime. By 'cleaning' the nasal secretions, we can reduce the feeling of pressure in the sinuses and prevent them from flowing backwards into the throat, which can be irritating.
