Hello ! Can I take gelomyrtol if I am breastfeeding my 8 month old coco? He still drinks a lot at the breast! Is it dangerous? Thank you for your help!

Hello ma'am, we don't have any data on its safety during breastfeeding, so it is best to avoid it. Have you tried anything for your symptoms?

Thank you for your answer! I take tylenols, Lambert syrup and sinus rinse! I still have big headaches and throat pain! But it should go away soon

Thanks for the feedback, you did well with Tylenol, you can also add lozenges like Halls or Fisherman's Friend for the throat. Sinus Rinse is still the first line of treatment as well as drinking lots of fluids, cold or hot depending on your preference. All of this is considered safe while breastfeeding.
If symptoms persist for more than a week without improvement, I suggest that you consult a physician as a precaution.
