My son threw up this morning and had loose stools, is it the stomach bug?

My 2 year old boy has had 3 loose/watery stools in the last 3 days. And this morning he threw up all his breakfast. He seems to be more tired for a few days and has less appetite but nothing obvious. Could it be a stomach bug? Even if he doesn't have several bowel movements a day? And he is functioning normally and playing as usual. Yes, thank you very much!
