Hello
If your boy is a young child (less than 6 years old) and he developed a rash following a fever, this is a relatively common phenomenon in children. This can happen for example in cases of 5th disease, roseola and several viral diseases generally benign in children, because the fever disappears quickly (around 24 hours) and then the child recovers completely without consequence.
For the shape of the rash, a picture would help but after a quick search, there doesn't seem to be anything characteristic for a C shape.
In any case, if the fever is higher than 39.5 degrees celcius for a child older than 6 months, higher than 39 for a child of 3-6 months or higher than 38 for a child younger than 3 months and that this fever lasts more than 48 hours, go see a doctor. Otherwise, in most cases, you can simply observe your child and see how he or she develops.
