My 1 year old boy had his vaccine on Wednesday December 18 and since December 25 he has had a fever between 38.7 and 39.1. When should I consult?

Hello Madam,
At this age, when we have no idea to know the exact cause of fever, it is recommended to go for consultation when the fever is present for more than 3 days. This means that we should go to the doctor if the fever is still present tomorrow morning when we wake up.
Some vaccines cause fever about 5 to 12 days after the injection. This is the case with the vaccine given to children aged 12 and 18 months in Quebec. However, this fever should not be much longer than 3 to 4 days.
Happy day,
