I have been coughing more since I started Symbicort?

Coughing can be a side effect of Symbicort

If the onset of the cough is more or less the same time you started the product, I suggest you talk to your pharmacist:

We could try the 're-challenge': You could suspend the Symbicort, even if it means going back to your old inhalers. If the cough goes away, you could try Symbicort again, and if the cough comes back, we can get a better idea if Symbicort is the cause. In any case, your pharmacist will be able to follow up with you closely, review the method of administration of your inhalers, and contact your doctor if alternatives are suggested.
