Pharmacists can indeed extend prescriptions in order not to interrupt treatment. If you are taking this medication on a regular basis, and your pharmacist has been following up with you regularly, it would be appropriate to ask if an extension of more than one month would be possible

Let me explain: if your pharmacist has already extended your medication by one month, he/she must be able to justify this, and assess whether a longer extension would be possible.
