Good evening ma'am,
Fasting blood glucose is what you record once a day, in the morning (or after at least 8 hours without eating, which is rare in the day).
As far as the target for a 3-year-old, it is usually the same as for an adult. Is that the information that the endocrinologist had given you?

I wasn't given much information when he was set up with the Dexcom. I was simply told to give him a snack or juice when he reaches 3.3 blood sugar (so when the Dexcom app beeps). The endocrinologist and I should talk again around December 14. Until then, unfortunately, I find it hard not to interpret the data that is displayed on the app! Thanks for your responses :)

That's nice! Indeed, it's best to wait until the endocrinologist explains more specifically what the targets are for your child. In the meantime, continue to make sure his blood sugar doesn't drop below 3.3 :)
Happy day!
