My son has a wet cough but his general condition is good. No fever, eating well. He has been coughing for almost 3 weeks. Should I consult?

He coughs mostly in the morning and when he cries. We consulted after 14 days of coughing, his lungs are fine. Should I reconsult or wait a little longer?

Hello Ma'am,
How old is he? And do you do the Sinus Rinse or the Baby Flyer?

14 months, syringes of saline water morning and night. No known illnesses. His general condition is good: eating well, sleeping well. It is just that he coughs with sputum.

Thank you!
In such a case, and given that the recent consultation with a doctor a week ago showed no pulmonary complications, I am of the opinion that we should wait a bit before reconsulting and instead increase the frequency of syringes.
At this age, it can be used at 10 mL of saline per nostril up to 5 times a day. If your child has never been diagnosed with asthma, then most likely the secretions that are bothering them and that they are trying to cough up are coming from the nasal passages! :)
