My 22 month old son woke up last night with a cough/bark (fake croup). He started a slight fever at noon. Should we be concerned (COVID)?

Can his brother's cold come out to him in laryngitis?

Hello Ma'am,
Yes, big brother's cold could cause laryngitis (it's rare, but not impossible).
In this case, then, we would look to monitor the fever. If the fever has been present for more than 2 days, a doctor should be consulted.
In the current COVID situation, I would recommend going to this site (😊👉CoronaCheck) created by Swiss authorities, but very adequate to our "local" situation in Quebec.
If the tool recommends that you consult a doctor, I recommend that you call 1-877-644-4545. The staff on the other end of the line will direct you to the nearest screening clinic and make an appointment for you (which is why you should not go directly to the clinics).
Note that anyone who has been in close contact with someone who is recommended for screening should also be screened. By close contact, we mean that they have spent more than 4 hours in the same room as a person to be screened, or has been in direct contact (kissing, talking) with that person.
If you are recommended to go to a screening clinic, I would recommend that you go without taking public transportation.
Happy day!
