My 21 month old son has white lips and inside of his mouth! Should I have a treatment?

If the white patches don't go away when you scrub, it's possibly thrush (a yeast infection). In a situation like this, two different products can be used: Nystatin™ oral solution or Canesten™ cream. These products should work in less than 5 days.

To avoid reinfection, it is important to boil the child's nipples, bottles and toothbrushes (in fact, anything that comes in contact with the child's mouth).
