My 9 year old son has been having green stools for almost a week. Is this dangerous?

Sometimes children have a bit of "weird" bowel movements when they are covering up a small virus (e.g., gastro).

In this case, I would suggest continuing to "monitor" for now, considering he is not running a fever and doesn't necessarily seem to be overly impacted by this.

If in 1 week the situation has not changed, I would recommend that you see a doctor.
