Hi, my daughter is 16 months old and weighs 26 pounds. How much tylenol should I give her if she needs it?

I was giving her the infant one which is 0-23 months, but this one is up to 23 lbs. Can I give him the 2-11 year old one which is 24-95 lbs? Is it better to go by weight or age? Thank you for your help!

Hello,
Depending on your child's weight, you should give him between 1.5 and 2.2mL every 4 to 6 hours of Tylenol 0 to 23 months... Basically, you can give him 2.0mL every 4 to 6 hours if needed.
Alternatively, you can give him the suspension for children 2-11 years old... In this case, the dose would be between 3.7mL and 5.5mL (or essentially 5mL every 4-6 hours if needed).
I hope this answers your question. If there is anything else, please feel free to contact me again and I will be happy to answer!
Sincerely,
