Good morning, ma'am,
Yes, you can give him Benadryl. The dose is calculated according to his weight
Do you have the liquid for children, concentrated at 6.25 mg per 5 ml? What is your child's weight?

The dose is 1 to 1.25 mg/kg/dose 3 to 4 times a day, so give 8 to 10 ml 3 to 4 times a day as needed. Be careful, the product can cause a lot of drowsiness or excitement in young children. Decrease the dose if necessary.
Keep in mind that the reaction must be mild: if it is very pronounced or increases, consult a doctor quickly.
I also recommend applying ice or a cold compress for 10 to 15 minutes
Sincerely,
Tom Samaha, pharmacist
