I am not on any medication and I do not have any allergies. I called the number for covid 19 since I have a fever. However, I was told that I do not need to be tested as I have not been in contact with anyone with covid 19 and I have not traveled lately.

Waiting for your symptoms to pass, I recommend taking Tylenol™ for the headache and fever (avoid Advil™ or Motrin or ibuprofen), drink plenty of water and get plenty of rest. If you need to buy Tylenol™, I recommend sending someone in your place or having it delivered, to avoid possibly contaminating people at the pharmacy. Know that even if you don't classify yourself for testing at this time, there is every reason to believe that there are cases of community-acquired infections occurring right now in Quebec.
