I have had a fever for at least 24 hours, I have a hacking cough, I have pain all over my body... What can I take considering my pregnancy?

Hello, our little family and I have a virus in our house since Monday night. The problem is that I am about 6 weeks pregnant. I was wondering what I could take instead of the tylenol that doesn't work at all...

Hello !
For fever and pain, Tylenol is indeed a safe option for pregnancy. Advil is unfortunately to be avoided. Be sure to take an optimal dose of Tylenol. For example: 2 tablets of 500 mg every 6 hours as needed (for a maximum of 8 tablets per day)
For wet coughs, there are few treatments that have been proven effective. I suggest you take nothing for the moment. If you wish, you can try taking honey to relieve yourself
If you haven't already done so, I suggest that you do a quick test for covid.
Also, if your fever (≥ 38.5°C) persists for more than 72 hours despite taking Tylenol, I suggest you see a doctor.
