Ongoing cognitive decline; possible onset of Alzheimer's (evaluated by neurologist). Taking citalopram for one week; should start galantamine in early January. No other health problems.

Indeed, one must be careful with citalopram and the use of certain natural health products. However, it would take too long to list all the products to avoid here. You should also know that vitamins (e.g. B, C, D, etc.) do not interact with citalopram.

Tell me here what natural products you would like to take and I will confirm if there is an interaction with citalopram.

Here are the natural products I take: alpha-lipoic acid, bacopa monnieri, acetyl-L-carnitine, a vitamin B complex, turmeric and pyrroloquinoline. Thank you).

Thank you for this information.

There appears to be no interaction between the natural health products you are taking and citalopram (Ref: TRC | Natural Medicines). Bacopa does interact with Galantamine, which you are planning to start taking in the near future. It would be appropriate to stop taking Bacopa.
