I have a terrible sore throat and it even prevents me from sleeping?

Hello ! I caught my child's hand to mouth foot. I have a terrible sore throat and it even prevents me from sleeping! I have difficulty swallowing my saliva... it's terrible the pain! What can I do/take to reduce my pain and be able to tolerate myself? The pellets don't seem to work... Thank you ☺️

Hello Mrs, In addition to lozenges, you can take acetaminophen (Tylenol and other brands) to relieve throat pain If you are not pregnant (or trying to become pregnant), have no allergies or contraindications (your pharmacist will be able to confirm this), ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin and other brands) can also help relieve pain, even if you take it with food to reduce the risk of stomach irritation. I also encourage you to drink plenty of fluids, cold or hot, depending on your preference.
