I had unprotected sex and I'm traveling, what should I do?

Hello, I am a 23 year old woman and I recently had unprotected sex. I think I have some symptoms that could be related to an STD. I am currently in Belgium and will be returning to Quebec on June 29. Unfortunately, I can't get an appointment before my departure for a screening. Am I exposing myself to great risks if I wait until my return to see a doctor? Indeed, I could try to see if there is a way to go to a walk-in. If I get results in Belgium, will they be valid in Quebec or will I still have to see a doctor when I get back to get a prescription (if ever the results are positive)?

Is it possible to see a doctor without an appointment, even if it means getting reimbursed for possible expenses with your travel insurance upon your return?
