What to do about hemorrhoids during pregnancy?

I am 10 weeks pregnant and have uncomfortable hemorrhoids. Is there a cream or something else I can use to relieve the discomfort that won't harm my pregnancy?

Good morning, ma'am,
Anusol Plus ointment can help relieve discomfort. It is available without prescription and is safe during pregnancy. It can be applied externally and internally twice a day and after each bowel movement if needed.
Is it due to constipation or diarrhea?

To constipation

Thanks for the feedback!
This is unfortunately a common problem for pregnant women
In addition to the ointment, taking PEG-3350 (LAX-A-DAY, Restoralax and other brands) can help soften the stool. This is a safe product to take every trimester. I also encourage you to eat lots of fiber (fruits and vegetables, whole grains, etc) and drink lots of fluids during the day to soften stools.
I hope I have been helpful and I am available if you have any further questions!
