Last week, I had to go to the emergency room for chest discomfort. My heartbeat seemed irregular and more intense. At the hospital, I had an electrocardiogram and everything was fine. According to the doctor, my heart discomfort and pain is caused by anxiety. Hello, The doctor told me to take deep breaths. He told me that everything should be back to normal in the next few days. Hello ma'am, I'm sorry to read about your troubles! Other than what the doctor explained to you, did he/she prescribe a treatment or suggest a consultation with another professional? Thanks for the feedback! Unfortunately, if your symptoms have not improved, you will need to see a doctor again, and/or a psychologist or psychotherapist. These are the professionals best placed to assess this type of situation. Most group insurance plans cover this type of service.
