I was particularly nauseous because I was in the car, so this is the first time I've thrown up. What do I do?

Hello,
Generally, a medication is considered to be absorbed in the body one hour after taking the dose. It would therefore be possible to take the missed dose again.
Rizatriptan or zolmitriptan are available in an ultra-melting format. This does not mean that they are absorbed more quickly than the normal tablet, but they have the advantage of working despite vomiting. Intranasal spray is also a format available for sumatriptan and zolmitriptan. Sumatriptan is also available in an injectable form.
Hopefully this answers your question,
