Can Vitalux prevent or stabilize macular degeneration?

A very recent Cochrane review (a very large study) found that taking antioxidant-type supplements (such as Vitalux) does not prevent the onset of age-related macular degeneration.

Taking Vitalux remains relevant in the stabilization of an already present disease, as well as in the slowing down of its progression.
