Is going back on the birth control pill my only option?

Hello, I started the contraceptive pill when I was 14-15 years old and I just stopped it 3 months ago, I'm 23 now and I have acne like before I started it. Is there any way to make it stop. I already have a routine of cleansing twice a day and creams etc but it doesn't work.

Hello Madam, would it be possible to know which creams you have tried and for how long?

I didn't try a cream specifically for acne because I didn't have one before, my cream is not for acne

Thanks for the feedback.
For acne, the best treatment is benzoyl peroxide lotion (Benzagel and other brands) which can be applied to the affected area 1-2 times a day. It can be applied every 2 days at first if it dries or irritates the skin, and be careful with the product as it can rub off on clothing and bedding. You can get an idea of its effectiveness after 10 to 14 days.
I suggest that you use only water to wash your face and only do it twice a day, and favor a moisturizer without fragrance. Avoid cosmetics and other products as they can make the situation worse.
If this does not work, you should consult a doctor to assess your needs.
Sincerely,
