Can the use of antibiotics cause polyuria?

Hi, I have been taking minocycline 50mg (for my skin problems) for about a week now and I was wondering if it causes polyuria because I have been urinating constantly since I started my antibiotics. Both. I have to take this and 2 creams (ketoderm and noritate) for a few months in view of a laser treatment

Hello, thank you for your question! This is not a side effect usually associated with this medication Are you taking minocycline for acne or rosacea? Thanks for the feedback! If you suspect minocycline, I can suggest that you suspend it for 3-5 days, to see if it clears up. Then you could start it again, and if the symptoms reappear, you could be more sure that the drug could be the cause.
