Can mirtazapine (Remeron) cause impatience in the legs? I have taken this medication in the past, but it didn't do that to me.

I am also taking 1.75mg imovan for insomnia. I started remeron again after 3 months off. I have been on it for 3 years

Yes, remeron or mirtazapine can cause restless legs syndrome.Taking zopiclone may increase the effects of mirtazapine. It is therefore possible that you did not have this side effect a few months ago but now that you are taking both medications the side effect is appearing.

Thank you for the information. I hadn't gotten that answer from my pharmacist. I have realized over the years that some pharmacists are not very knowledgeable about psychiatric medications.
