I have been taking Cymbalta for a year. For the past few months I have found that my memory is declining very rapidly. I am trying to rule out the possibilities and will be asking for an ADHD test since my daughter has been diagnosed for several years.

Good evening, the side effect of memory loss is not reported with cymbalta. In fact, the drug is supposed to help with that, and that's what has been observed in the depression studies. If you're taking the drug for depression, it's possible that it's a lingering symptom that's not being adequately treated... If it is indeed for depression and that symptom persists, trintellix might be superior at that level. Lastly, I would indeed encourage you to get evaluated for possible ADHD, knowing that there is indeed a significant genetic component. I encourage you to discuss this problem with your doctor as soon as possible, so that other possible medical causes can be explored as well.
