I have seasonal allergies, normally I take one 10mg loratadine tablet in 24hrs and it goes away. Since I bought the capsules it seems that it doesn't work as fast. I have to take it for 3 days. I take synthoids and hormones daily. Can I take 2 tablets in 24 hours of Loratadine?

Hello,
Unfortunately, the dosage of Claritin (over-the-counter loratadine) is limited to one dose in 24 hours. So I recommend that you get the kind of pill you were using before to avoid exceeding the maximum dosage.
Also note that there are times when a person may need to change medications in order to be effective. It may be appropriate for you to try Aerius or Reactin if you find that Loratadine is not working well enough.
