My son's stools are paler than usual?

32-year-old woman2 years ago
Hello, since Thursday evening my 21 month old son has been having stools that are really paler than usual. They are beige and a little softer. The color is more or less hummus color. No medication has been taken, his general condition seems the same as before, but he is drinking and eating more dairy products. He only wants yogurt. He is also doing his molars so I don't know what to think anymore. On the internet, it's scary to look at the information on beige stools.

Thank you for your question!
Feeding can indeed alter the color and consistency of stools. If there are no other symptoms and if your child is in good general condition, there is no need to worry. If your child is drinking and eating, wetting and soiling his or her diaper, just keep an eye on his or her general condition.
I hope I've put your mind at ease, so don't hesitate if you have any other questions!
