Good morning, ma'am, If your current symptoms persist for more than a week or get worse, you should see a doctor again as a precaution. In the meantime, taking Tylenol and lozenges such as Halls or Fisherman's Friend may help relieve the irritation. I also encourage you to drink plenty of fluids, cold or hot, as you prefer.
