Hello Madam, I am sorry to read about your troubles!
In order to better understand the situation, would it be possible to obtain the following information:
  • When did you first notice this? Is it every time you drink?
  • Has there been a change in the formula you give him, or the form (ready-to-feed, powder, concentrate, etc.)?
  • Is your baby still drinking, even if less than usual?
  • Is your baby still drinking, wetting and soiling his diaper, gaining weight?

Hello,
yes, it's every time you drink
there was no change at the time of appearance
it's been a little more than a week
i tried to start cereals to satisfy her hunger but without success, she does not open her mouth, turns her head and spits out the mouthfuls I tried several times
yes she drinks about half of her bottles! She wets her diapers well, poops normally too
she seems to be gaining weight normally too

Thank you for the information!
I want to reassure you that the age of 5-6 months can be quite challenging for both the baby and the parents. It's a new developmental stage where she's interacting more and more with her environment, and that's not counting the possible teething. I want to advise you that the description of the situation sounds like you are doing everything recommended.
Continue to encourage shorter, more frequent feedings and try to introduce foods very gradually. As long as your little one is drinking, soiling her diaper and gaining weight, continue to monitor the situation.
Sincerely
Tom Samaha, Pharmacist
