I am trying to get pregnant and my luteal phase is short. Can over the counter progesterone cream help? Are there any contraindications?

I am breastfeeding my 2 year old daughter as well. My period came back at 11 months, so it's been a while. Thank you.

Hello
There is no progesterone cream available over the counter. Can you give me the exact name of the product you are talking about?
Thank you.

I had read about it on the internet. I didn't go further in my research to know what exactly was this cream

There is a lubricant called Preseed that is available in pharmacies that helps sperm motility. It is a safe product that is sometimes recommended by fertility clinics. How long have you been trying to get pregnant again?

It's only been 3 months, but as I noticed that my luteal phase was short, confirmed with ovulation test and the period coming, I inquired if there is something to do to lengthen this phase. I ovulate quite late in the evening at day 21 of my cycles and I have cycles that vary from 27 to 33 days.
I have heard of pre seed. I could try it. I was thinking that if my luteal phase is short, even if there is fertilization, my period comes too early to allow implantation

To get a better picture of your hormonal situation, you should have a fertility assessment. To do so, the ideal is to consult a gynecologist specialized in fertility. The Ovo and Procrea clinics have satellite clinics on the south shore. They would be best placed to analyze your situation.
