The best treatment for such symptoms depends on the cause of the symptoms.

So, if it is thought to be the stomach, then medications to decrease stomach acid (e.g., Olex™) will be given. If it is thought to be the gut instead, then probiotics may be tried.

Hello, I think it's the stomach because when I take tums it goes a little better. However, I don't know what could be causing this and why it only happens in the evening and only since last Thursday.

Weird indeed.

We could try using a PPI class drug instead of Tums, which is more effective and lasts longer.

Simply go to a pharmacy to get a prescription from a pharmacist.
