I had my 4 wisdom teeth removed 1 1/2 weeks ago. For the past 2 days, I have had the sensation of pain in my lower teeth. Is this normal?

I have been taking advils since the time of the extraction, is this a sign of infection? Additional details: the dentist had to go and get my tooth from the bone.. However I wonder if it's normal to have pain in other teeth.. thank you

Hello Ma'am, Yes, such pain is normal. If you do not have very sudden pain, heavy bleeding, or the presence of foul odor in the mouth, one can wait a few days before seeing the dentist again to examine the holes left by the removed teeth. In the meantime, one can take Aleve™ or Advil™, anti-inflammatory drugs. Happy day :) Alexander
