I changed the pill for the ring but I still have bleeding, is this normal?

I started using NuvaRing about two weeks ago. My doctor prescribed it continuously (no break between cycles). My period started three days ago. I was taking the pill continuously before and I made the change without interruption. My last period was two months ago.

Hello Mrs., thank you for your question! Although the situation may seem unpleasant, it does not necessarily indicate a problem. In fact, since the contraception has been changed, there may be periods of bleeding, even with continuous wear of the ring. This usually resolves itself.
