My 3 year old has several ulcers in his cheeks, lips and tongue, should we do anything?

This can occur during an episode of fatigue, illness, consumption of irritating or hot food, or if there has been a small abrasion.

The lesions often heal on their own, and may require 7 to 10 days

Taking Tylenol can help reduce the pain, and I encourage avoiding irritating foods.

However, if the number of lesions continues to increase, or if they persist for more than 7 days without improvement, you should consult a doctor, as a precaution.
