What to do for a 16-month-old child with white pimples in the mouth?

My 16 month old has white spots on the inside of his cheeks and on the sides of his tongue. He does not have a fever and his general condition is as usual. Yesterday he had his chicken pox vaccine.

Hello, thank you for your question!
Did these whitish spots/plaques appear after the vaccine or did he have them before?
Does your child take medication on a regular basis (including pumps if applicable)?
White pimples in the mouth can sometimes look like a fungus (thrush). If the symptoms persist for several days or if the general condition becomes altered (fever, pain, decreased appetite, etc.), it would be advisable to consult the physician for an evaluation and treatment if necessary. However, it is not impossible that this is an adverse reaction to the vaccine. If this is the case, it should go away within 24 to 48 hours
I hope to have answered your question and remain available for further information.
