How do I get a temporary work stoppage prescription?

Hello, my spouse has been experiencing depressive symptoms for some time. He has recently started medication. However, he has been unable to go to work for about two weeks. The more time goes by, the higher his absence rate. He is not able to see his doctor until next week and I am concerned about a possible referral.

Hello ma'am,

Only a doctor can prescribe time off work according to what I found in the CNESST documents. You will need to see a walk-in, for example, if your spouse does not have a doctor.
