I am 6.1 weeks pregnant. At the dating ultrasound, we saw the gestational sac and the vesicle but not the embryo. Should I be concerned?

Hello,
This summer I had an ectopic pregnancy. I evacuated it by myself at 6.3 weeks. I am pregnant again, after 3 months, and I asked for an x-ray to make sure it was in the uterus this time. The radiology technician confirmed that the gestational sac and the yolk sac were in the uterus and that everything looked good. However, she did not see the embryo. She told me that since the pregnancy is relatively early (I thought I was at 5.4 weeks but according to her 6.1 weeks) sometimes you don't see the embryo and that I will probably see it at my 10 week appointment (the first follow-up). I'm worried if it's a "clear egg" or if I shouldn't be worried because it's early in the pregnancy. She later went to the radiologist to see if he wanted to come see me and he said everything was fine on his end, no need to come and look. So is this a good sign?
thank you!

Hello!
in light of the information provided, I do believe that everything seems to be normal for the moment, given that it is early in your pregnancy. It is understandable, given the course of your previous pregnancy, that you are more worried..
On the other hand, it is indeed early in your pregnancy and that is probably why the radiologist could not make a decision... But there is no reason to believe that anything is abnormal at this time, as he mentioned to you. Hopefully, everything goes well for you in the next few months!
We look forward to hearing from you
