I have had fungal infections regularly in my life, I just want to make sure that I am taking a recommended treatment during a pregnancy.

Hello Ma'am,

We can take a Canesten™-based treatment. Care should be taken not to insert the vaginal applicator too deeply (it can be replaced by simply using your finger to apply the product in the vagina).

During pregnancy, a treatment of 6 days minimum should be done. Shorter than that, the treatment may not be effective.
