I am 27 weeks pregnant and have been drinking unpasteurized apple cider vinegar. Is this dangerous? What should I check?

I took about 1 tbsp diluted in a large glass of water per day x4 days for heartburn. Since I found that the vinegar was not pasteurized, I stopped using it.

Hello and thank you for your question!
I have to admit that I don't have much knowledge in this field (besides the fact that I also took cider vinegar in water for some time).
The principle of pasteurization consists in a heat treatment of a product to eliminate certain bacteria.
In my opinion, depending on the quantity you took and the short duration, I wouldn't worry. The digestive system is still very efficient at killing pathogens.
To be on the safe side, I would suggest checking with a nutritionist or your doctor at your next appointment.
