Side effects: is this normal? Benefits when Pristiq? increases

It is quite normal to have this kind of side effect following an increase in dosage. Pristiq 50 mg is equivalent to Effexor 75 at 112.5 mg. Pristiq 100 is equivalent to Effexor 150 at 187.5 mg. It is therefore normal that you may experience some effects compared to your Effexor 75 mg dose. The effects should normally last a few days and then fade. A change in dosage may also lead to an increase in anxiety in the first few days. If the side effects persist, I suggest you talk to your pharmacist or doctor to see what other solutions are available

So, it's hard to say when you'll start to feel the benefits of Pristiq. Since you were already taking Effexor, it could be that the effect will start before that. It may also take 2 to 4 weeks as with a new treatment. The side effects may last for about 2 weeks, maybe a little less than that depending on the person
