Very intense nasal congestion but 35 weeks pregnant. Using sinus rinse and hydra sens several times a day, but no good done. Unable to sleep because I am so congested and exhausted.

Hello ma'am, congratulations on your pregnancy :)!
I'm sorry to read about your troubles!
Products like Advil Cold & Sinus, Nyquil and others should be avoided during pregnancy.
The best treatment is nasal hygiene with a saline solution like Hydrasense or Sinus Rinse which can be done as often as needed during the day and at least 30 minutes before bedtime. It is a little uncomfortable but works extremely well.
If needed, a nasal spray with a topical decongestant (active ingredient xylometazoline) can be suggested, which can be used for up to 3 to 5 days. Your pharmacist will be able to direct you to a product that contains this active ingredient only and follow up with you closely.
I encourage you to drink plenty of fluids, cold or hot, as you prefer.
If you have pain (throat or otherwise), Tylenol can be taken without problem, as well as lozenges such as Halls or Fisherman's Friend for local relief of throat irritation.
If your symptoms persist for more than a week without improvement or get worse, you should see a doctor.
I hope this has been helpful to you and I am available if you have any further questions!
Sincerely,
Tom Samaha, pharmacist
