Would you be able to identify a possible cause for this pain? Exercise or activities in particular, a new pair of shoes, or something else?

Unfortunately if this appearance has been going on for several months, it would be best to have it evaluated by a doctor to get the right diagnosis

It may be frostbite, but if it is mild to moderate, it usually clears up over time. If this has occurred and you are unable to determine a cause (frostbite, injury or other), a medical evaluation would be recommended to rule out other possible causes
