Hello, I have been having pain in my right ovary for 3 days. I recently changed my contraceptive pill. What should I do?

I wonder if the change in birth control could be the cause. No matter how much I take Tylenol or Advil, the pain doesn't go away. What can I do about it?

Hello Ma'am,
What was the reason you changed your contraceptive? What was the old the name of the old contraceptive and what is the new one?
Are you taking your contraception regularly? Are you able to rule out pregnancy? Is the pain continuous? Do you have spotting? Do you have pain during sex?
It is difficult to tell from this information. Low pelvic pain that is only on one side of the abdomen is not something that is normally found. One can think of appendicitis, a urinary tract infection, a kidney stone, a hernia, etc. In any case, it would be best to go see a doctor quickly.
I'm sorry I can't help you more.

Hello,
I changed my birth control because I was taking Micronor since I was breastfeeding and I stopped breastfeeding. I went back to the contraceptive I was taking before my pregnancy. However, for some reason, the first month back I was given Apri and this month Mirvala. It has been two months since I started again. I had my period last month and I haven't had sex since then. So I can rule out pregnancy, but can't know if I have pain during intercourse. I have no spotting and I take my pill every day.
thanks for your reply, I will consult my doctor :)
