This is not the first time this type of pain has happened to me. At first I thought it was an allergy, but the antihistamines that I take (Claritin) do not change anything

Indeed, seasonal allergies do not cause eye pain. The pain should be more specific...Is it a burning, foreign body sensation, scratch? Is there any associated discharge (if so, clear or purulent) or other symptoms that come with this pain? Are there any factors that aggravate this pain (light for example?) In any case, I cannot confirm what you have, but if the pain is really in the eye (and it is not only a heating/discomfort), if you have pain associated with light or if your vision is affected, you should quickly consult an optometrist
